Do you believe theatre and the arts can change lives?
Do you have time, energy and resources to help a small charity to re-set and refresh?
We are looking for some exceptional people to help us secure our future:
TRUSTEES: a Chair, Treasurer and other board members happy to take on a role of leadership and governance, as determined by the Charity Commission.
STRATEGIC ADVISORY PANELLISTS: a shorter commitment for those who prefer not to take on a formal trustee role, but can help us shape our future.
Who are we looking for?
–People who love the arts, and believe they have the potential to change lives.
–People who have skills that are currently not represented in our trustees and staff such as marketing, fundraising, finance and Change Management
-Those who are happy to network and advocate for Theatre Troupe
–A little bit of time on their hands
–People who are representative of our service users and their families and communities – those with lived experience of mental distress, those with disabilities and those from global majority backgrounds.
- Those who are mental heath service users or have lived experience of mental distress
- Those with disabilities
- Those from global majority backgrounds
Board of Trustees v. Strategic Advisory Panel
We currently have two areas of need.
The first is to grow and strengthen our BOARD with people who have the experience mentioned above and are happy to commit to a 2 Year Period (although ideally this would be 3 years). As well as a commitment to governance, we are keen to engage people who are happy to lead, lend vision and strategy and work towards a relaunch in 2025.
The Strategic Advisory Panel is for people who might not want to fully commit to a board post, but can offer skills, experience and vision directly related to a relaunch. We ask for a shorter commitment of one year.
Most meetings will take place via Zoom, although there may occasionally be in-person meetings where required.
To request our Trustee/ SAP Pack and Application form, please download the documents below or email emily@theatretroupe.org. If you’d like to have a chat about these roles and what they might entail, please feel free to give Artistic Director Emily a ring on 07951 047015.
